  2. When · second stocking From 17:00 till late Drinks from 17:00. Dinner at 19:00, stockings swapped at 20:00.
  3. Where · third stocking Brenton’s place Durbanville, Cape Town. Park on the street and come round the side to the stoep. Follow the fairy lights.
  4. Bring · fourth stocking A stocking-filler gift (under R150) & your appetite Wrap it small enough to fit in a stocking. Dinner and drinks are on the house.
  5. Wear · last stocking Something festive. Flip-flops welcome. It’s December in Cape Town: shorts, a Christmas shirt, a paper hat if you’re brave.
